This policy explains what information Find Your Finish (“the Platform”, operated by [Your Legal Entity Name]) collects, why, and how it’s handled.

1. Information we collect

When you register for an event, we collect the details the registration form asks for:

  • Full name, email, and phone number
  • Date of birth, gender, T-shirt size, and emergency contact, where provided
  • Answers to any custom questions the organizer has added
  • Payment confirmation details from Razorpay (we don’t receive or store your card, UPI, or bank details directly)

If you create an organizer account, we collect your name and email via Clerk, our authentication provider, to manage sign-in.

2. How we use your information

  • To process and confirm your event registration
  • To share your registration details with the event organizer, so they can run their event
  • To send confirmation emails and, where relevant, bib number or event updates
  • To respond if you contact us through the site

3. Who your data is shared with

The organizer of the event you register for sees your registration details — that’s necessary for them to run the event. We also share data with the service providers that power the Platform: Razorpay (payments), Resend (email delivery), Clerk (organizer sign-in), and Supabase (data storage). We do not sell your personal information.

4. Data retention

We retain registration records for as long as needed to support the event, handle disputes or refunds, and meet our legal and accounting obligations.

5. Your choices

You can cancel your own registration from your confirmation page. For any other request — correcting your details, or asking what data we hold about you — contact us.

6. Security

Payments are handled entirely by Razorpay’s secure infrastructure. Registration data is stored with access limited to what’s needed to operate the Platform.

7. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time; the “last updated” date above will reflect that.
